  BOAT SHOW NOTES – As a veteran of the Boat, Sport and Travel Show wars here’s a tale from the front lines that rates an “amen.”

 Earl Bentz, president of Triton Boats, can provide a compilation of comments from various showgoers and boating associates, but his favorite is “one you’d just as soon not hear.”

 Says Earl, “TV fishing show host Bill Dance probably hears more fish stories than anyone can remember.  But, there’s always one more.  Fellow walked up to Bill, at a show in St. Louis, and said: ‘Say Bill, I didn’t tell you about all the big bass we caught last spring on Table Rock, did I?  Upon which Bill Dance dead-panned.  “No you didn’t, and I really appreciate it.”
